1st trip to colorado

Sad that this is the only picture that I have of our trip to Colorado :( You will understand once I tell you I did it all by myself :) ha haCarsen and I went on a impromptu trip to Colorado to spend time with my Brother and sis in laws kiddos while they were able to spend some time with my sis in law's ill father. I got a call Sunday night ( the first part of april) They wondered if Carsen and I could fly out that Tuesday and stay till the next Tuesday. Keith was busy finishing up the semester so we jumped at the chance and got things together to go! Keith's mom took us to the airport and the fun began :) It really was quite the adventure at the airport with a toddler, a stroller, a backpack, a carseat and 2 bags! I'm sure I was quite the sight trying to juggle all of that but I was very blessed to have help from some very sweet strangers. ( which were pretty much all men I might add! It is so nice to know that they noticed that I could use a hand!! I kinds thought that it would be the women that had done this before and had some sympathy for me) All 4 times in the airports and at the rental car place I was blessed with awesome angels to help :)

We had a lot of fun and I am really sad now that I don't have any more pictures than I do!! I guess I just got 2 busy with 5 kiddos under 10 :) We had a blast and we are so grateful for the opportunity to have gotten to go and let the kids get to know each other better!! Carsen loves his cousins and they are sooooo sweet to him! He would call out for them every morning. He calls Eden, Edet. And Elle, Eeeeyyyyyooooo. Every time he wold see the kids he would say...AYO. Over and over and they would say it back and forth to each other!! So cute!! I love these kids!!!

We played outside a lot and played basketball and went to the parks and the library and the store and chick fil a, and birthday parties and bbq's (met some great new friends), and just had a ton of fun! I love all my nieces and nephews and am so happy we got to spend this time over there!!
Their wonderful grandpa passed away the Saturday before we came home. He was and still is a great man and will truly be missed by all!
So glad that we were able to help where needed and we can't wait to see all the cousins again real soon!!
