St. George!

Wow it has been a while since I have blogged! Here is one of the many posts I need to get up on here.... The first week in June we went with Keith's family down to St. George for a graduation vacation. With Keith, Keith's dad and brother in law all graduating this year within a week of each other we all decided we really needed to celebrate. Keith's parents found this awesome place to stay called Coral Springs. There was hardly anyone there and it was beautiful!! We had such a great time and Carsen did surprisingly well with the drive. We had to rig up a little toy string for him in the back seat, which I forgot to take a pic of.... darn! (It was pretty inventive! oh what you will do to make a baby happy!)

We were all loving the weather, the swimming and the relaxing! Carsen loved playing in the pool. I think we spent a good majority of our time in there :) The heat kinda took it out of him and he was pretty funny at how tired he would get. He was so good to drink lots. We went up to Zion's national park one of the days, it was beautiful and lots of fun but wore us all out pretty quick with the heat. We had a great time and are looking forward to another vacation :) Thanks Kent and Marsha!!!

My New Craft Blog!

So after lots of thought I decided to start a new blog just for my sewing and crafting projects. I started this blog with the intent to make it like a family journal blog book later, so I will be putting all of my crafting stuff on my craft blog! you can get to it HERE!!

I am so excited to start this. It has been so much fun with all the sewing and crafting.
More exciting news..............I am starting to sell a few of my projects (the scripture cover n' carry) and will be taking some custom orders as well. I will be selling these on the new blog (Daisy Made) so you can leave me a comment or email me at laladaisy24@gmail.com

9 Months!!

I figured I better get Carsen's 9 month update on here before he turns 10 months...ha ha! Carsen turned 9 months on the 10th, and is doing new cute things every day!! I have so many things in my mind that I could go on forever about how much I love this little man and all the new and cute things he is doing. Every time I sit down to write them, he either needs me or I can't think of all the things that I thought of while laying in bed at night. I think that is when I do my best thinking!
Here are just a few new things for this month and some cute pics :)

~He loves to sit in the sink and smile and giggle at himself in the mirror when I get ready
~He love music and loves when we sing to him, especially our family bedtime song
~He loves to clap. He figured it out and claps all the time
~He is such a happy sweet baby and will laugh if you are laughing
~He says "mama" and "dada" to Keith and I. It melts my heart!!
~He has figured out how to sit himself up because he really doesn't like tummy time
~He loves to stand and is starting to pull himself up on everything!
~He would much rather be walking with help than sitting
~He loves lights, especially blue LED ones on our electronics.
~He give little love head buts on demand. so so cute!!
~He loves to give kisses and hugs (squeezes!!)
~He loves to be outside. Anything outside is good to him!! even just getting the mail
~loves to watch cars go by
~He loves the feel of the grass
~He loves to look out the windows
~He cracks himself up when he bats at things that hang in the car
~He does this funny fake laugh
~He loves to be in the water and loves to splash when swimming
~He has the funniest little old man hair
~He loves his oatmeal with bananas! The only thing he will eat in the morning!
~Definitely his father's child when it comes to making noises to entertain himself!
~Not a big fan of dogs that are bigger than him
~Loves the little pirate puffs Cheetos things.
~He loves books and any book that has textures that he can scratch or feel. (such a texture boy!)
~likes to try to feed himself now! and likes to chew on everything and anything he can get his hands on!
~is such a helper and tries to help us get him dressed and undressed! ha ha
~He is kind of crawling but usually just pushes himself backwards and gets stuck under the couch.
~he loves when we put the couch cushions on the floor for him to stand next to and push off of.
~He has the cutest smile ever and little dimples.
~He is completely fascinated by the vacuum! loves to watch it!
~He still loves his Binky!!
~He is now taking 2 naps a day and wants to eat everything that we are. so fun!
~He still just has the 2 little lower teeth but the top two front ones are almost there!
~He is really quite a patient little guy! lucky me!!

This little man makes my heart melt and I love him more than words can say!!!
