Here is the long awaited scripture cover n' carry that I have been working on for a while now. I am so excited that it is done and that I can use it now. It took me a little longer than I thought, just because I had to come up with a pattern for it. I have seen some like this on a craft blog, but I don't have a "quad" set of scriptures so I had to figure out how to make it work for my separate book set. It was mostly experimenting for me so now that I know what order to do it in to make it easier, I don't think it would take nearly as long. I don't have pictures of the whole process, but if anyone wants to make one, I would be happy to explain it further. I think these would make such a cute gift for kids getting baptized or just about anyone.
Happy Sewing!!

love it!
It's way cute! I love the fabric you picked out.
Ooo, I love that! I never take my scriptures anywhere though, I just mooch off of Lance at church!
Awesome project! Where do I sign up for taking classes from you? I also love the fabric you chose. But seriously, I would love one for myself if you can teach me :) I have a quad set so maybe it won't be too hard(?)
Yes, I would recommend Indian Oven. Their prices aren't too bad either, it was about $10/plate and the naan was $1.50. I would recommend the garlic naan over the regular and we both liked my curry more than Derek's masala.
I would love to learn to make this...if you'd like to teach me.
i love it- i want to learn to make it
So stinkin' cute! I'm tellin' ya, I envy your craftiness! I'm turning green over here! True story!
