Easter Eggs!

I know this one is way past due, but I still wanted to post about it because these are too fun and you can have an idea for next year or whenever I guess.
A week before Easter my mom called and told me that her work was doing a contest for decorated Easter eggs. There were 5 categories and you could win 50$ So I thought I would see what I could come up with and enter 2 for a better chance of having one of them win. (You could enter as many as you like, but you could only win one of the categories)

So here is what I came up with: (They are both plastic eggs by the way)
The first one is Mr. Egg-tato head. I cut pieces of felt and hot glued them on

The second one I cut strips of scrapbook paper and mod podged them on and then created this little paper flower (thanks Helga for the idea) and used a pin for the center of it and to keep it attached.


And........Mr. Egg-tato Head won!! for most colorful. Wahoo!!!
Thanks again mom for telling me about this contest! If anyone knows my mom we can't let a contest go by! we love them :)
