lil' kiddo sleep sack

Most all you moms out there have at some point experienced that rush of terrified adrenaline when you go to check on your baby and they have pulled the blanket over their face. I decided after I found him like that for every nap and at night for 2 days straight that I needed to have something safer. So, I was looking into buying one of those sleepsac's when I decided that I would try my hand at making one, since I had a few extra fleece blankets lying around that never get used so I bought a zipper and found this tutorial HERE and it was not hard at all! I was really surprised how simple it was and really cheap. (Total cost was 3.85 for the zipper!!!)
Carsen really likes it and it puts my mind at ease!!
Happy sewing :)

Very cute. I love those! I actually made one for my bigger kids. I had to make them with sleeves and legs cause my kids kick all their blankets off when they sleep! It wasn't very hard at all and my kids love them! I think that the total cost for them was like 7$ at most! Gotta love ingenuity!

I think I am going to start calling you Martha!!! You are making me feel guilty for always just taking the easy way out and buying things instead. I guess that is what happens when you have 3 kids and one on the way! I am going to have to give you the fabric for Korbin's blanket because I am afraid it will not ever get finished!! Maybe next week when you come to my house you can help me!!!! :) Great job on all your projects! I am impressed!
