If you are like me you have a bunch of plastic grocery bags at your house and not many uses for them besides garbage.
If you are like me you have a bunch of plastic grocery bags at your house and not many uses for them besides garbage.
Well.... after Carsen found the sacks that had groceries in them sitting next to him in the car. He LOVES to shake and crinkle them and make noise. Since that is not real safe to give them just the sack I made this little fabric cube from the tutorial I found HERE . But I just put plastic bags in the block instead of the batting. (Thanks for the idea Helga) He loves the sound it makes and it is safe for him to play with.
What a fun, cheap toy to make.
P.S. I got the fabric from Walmart where they have the precut little sections of fabric for 1$
and don't forget to keep your scraps.....for more projects to come :) Happy Sewing!

so super cute!! honor has a crinkle block we got for her awhile ago and she LOVES it. it's surely not as cute as yours though and probably cost twice as much. i think i might make my own now just to say i did. first i need to learn how to be crafty though! haha.
