So, yesterday the doctor put me on bed rest so that we can hopefully make it till this weekend before the baby comes (let him cook a little longer, ya know!) He said unless there is some drastic change, then we will be induced this weekend! The panic has officially set in! I am getting more and more excited, now that I am pretty much packed. I am still worried that I am going to forget something though! Keith watches me like a hawk when he is home, it is pretty funny! He is like a little kid on Christmas eve, I love it! I am so thankful for such a loving hubby! He is so good to help out with everything. Like on Saturday he cleaned his little heart out just so it would be done for when the baby comes and he cooks most of the time and works full time! I could not dream of ever being treated better! He is going to be a great dad! Funny tidbit....He revealed to me the other night that he has never changed a diaper! This should be fun! ha ha...I know he will pick it up just fine in the not so distant future! Oh and apparently I am totally dense or this week Keith has just revealed a lot to me, he was asked to participate in a barber shop quartet for a ward activity...I had no idea that he did that! He tells me later, "I did this all the time on my mission." I now know who will be singing the lullaby's! :) I love you honey! I can't believe we are already here!!
Thanks to everyone for the great advice on things to bring to the hospital and advice to help us. We will keep you all posted on what is happening and we would love visitors! P.S. we will be at McKay Dee Hosp.
One last favor....what did everyone do at the hospital to keep you entertained and busy while you were waiting for the baby? I'm sure being induced will not be a real quick process. Any suggestion is great! Thanks

Holy Smokes!! When are you getting induced? We're going to be in Logan this weekend, but maybe we could stop by on our way home? Keep us posted!!
How exciting... just enjoy the whole experience because it goes so fast! You will have so many vistors that you won't need things to keep you occupied. Autumn weighed 7 lbs 3 oz she was big for being 3 wks early. Good luck with the bed rest!!! No fun!
how big does your doctor say your little guy is? Boys always seem to have a harder time when they are early, but I bet it will be fine!
You better call me right when you have that baby! I don't know if we will be in Logan or down in Kaysville, we are going back and forth a lot this weekend. Good luck with everything!
Good luck! It will be a great weekend for you. My advice would be to take any time you can to sleep, that seems to be the one thing new moms always want but can never get.
Oh wow, we are so excited for you guys! I would bring magazines, playing cards, and maybe a movie or two. I know you are panicking but I promise you are more ready than you think and will be just fine. Love ya cuz!!
Well coming from someone who was induced, prepare for the long haul. One of my biggest things I wish I would have done better was, drink more when I could. There is a certain point they don't let you drink anymore, and it goes to ice chips and popsicles, not the most thirst quenching snack. Jesse and I were glued to the TV since we have never had one, so as far as time wasters that was ours. Good luck it will be great, enjoy the journey.
Good luck Heather, you'll do great!!
I brought my laptop and played some online games, checked my facebook pages, blogs, . etc. Whatever it is that floats your boat that you enjoy. Since you can't eat or drink anything you do get super hungry, but be careful after the delivery. I was so dehydrated I downed my first drink afterwards and threw up over the tray of food they had brought me. Not so fun! I agree with the above comment of getting sleep too. I'm not sure how hard your baby will be afterwards, but Grace had a hard time eating and staying calm after she was born so I never got any sleep, looked like a wreck, and didn't even WANT visitors. So you'll know in the moment what is really best for you. But sleep is definitely always needed!
p.s. bring some food for your hubby, or $ to eat at the hospital cafe!
Wow!! So exciting! I can't believe the time is here for you!!! Very exciting. I can't believe how small you are at 37 weeks. I feel like I have a giant watermelon inside me! The nursery is way cute! Good luck! Can't wait to see pictures of him!
