Post-its

The other day Carsen found our post it holder. When you pull one out another pops up. He thought this was really cool and for some reason he loves to chew on paper of any form! Funny boy!!
These pictures crack me up because he wants to chew on the paper but is still unsure about it after he gets it in his mouth.

He doesn't look guilty at all right?!?! :)

Cute cousins!

We went with the Utah cousins ( wish you could have been there Colorado cousins!) to Fat cats and the pizza factory last month after Tyler's birthday party! It was a lot of fun! All the kids wanted to ride on the mini carousel. They are all so cute and so sweet!! We Love all these kiddos!! Thanks for a great time!

Swimming and a movie!

I am way behind on posts so beware, over the next few days there will be a bunch!!

A few weeks ago we went out to the aquatic center and played for Whit's work party. Carsen really loves the water and is almost instantly calm...until he starts splashing :) Whit has taught swim lessons for years and he taught Carsen how to back float! (with help of course) Carsen took right to it and would lay back completely calm and put his hands over his eyes. He did so good, we were so excited! I don't want him to be afraid of the water. I hope he loves swimming as much as I do! Thanks whit for helping him!

The next morning it was Keith's work party and they rented out a theater near us on the Toy story opening morning. Tiff, Whit and Brecklyn came with us. It was so fun! Carsen fell asleep right after the lights dimmed and slept through most of it. He loved the part that he watched though!
He is such a good boy!! We have taken him to a movie since then as well and he fell asleep in that one too!!
We love to have Carsen with us. It is so much fun to watch his reaction to everything and when he discovers or experiences something new!

Swingin' and the Zoo!

For family night a few weeks ago we took Carsen to the park and he got to swing for the very first time! He LOVED it!! It was so cute to watch his face. He now recognizes when we are by swings and reaches for them. He loves swinging so much, I think he would swing all day if he could! I wish we had a swing at our house. I know this is a lot of pictures of him but I just can't help myself! He is so darn cute and I loved his expressions. He is so happy! love you baby :)

After the swings we went to the Willow park zoo. It is not very big, but Carsen just loved looking at all the birds and the raccoon. He just kept staring at the huge pelicans. It is so fun to watch him when he sees things for the first time!!

10 months!

I know I am always like a month late on these, but I just want to make sure that I eventually get them on here. (for journal purposes) Carsen is such a joy to have around and has stolen so many hearts!! He has his daddy and me wrapped around his little finger!! We love him so much and love to watch him grow and learn. He is learning tons of new things every day now. He is crawling faster and faster all the time and getting into more every time I turn around! I love every minute though. I have never vacuumed so much and moved everything possible up to at least knee height or above. Can't wait for all the new adventures to come!! love you buddy!

and ice cream :)

St. George!

Wow it has been a while since I have blogged! Here is one of the many posts I need to get up on here.... The first week in June we went with Keith's family down to St. George for a graduation vacation. With Keith, Keith's dad and brother in law all graduating this year within a week of each other we all decided we really needed to celebrate. Keith's parents found this awesome place to stay called Coral Springs. There was hardly anyone there and it was beautiful!! We had such a great time and Carsen did surprisingly well with the drive. We had to rig up a little toy string for him in the back seat, which I forgot to take a pic of.... darn! (It was pretty inventive! oh what you will do to make a baby happy!)

We were all loving the weather, the swimming and the relaxing! Carsen loved playing in the pool. I think we spent a good majority of our time in there :) The heat kinda took it out of him and he was pretty funny at how tired he would get. He was so good to drink lots. We went up to Zion's national park one of the days, it was beautiful and lots of fun but wore us all out pretty quick with the heat. We had a great time and are looking forward to another vacation :) Thanks Kent and Marsha!!!
