Happy Birthday Carsen

Since Carsen's birthday (8-10-11) was on a Tuesday this year we decided to celebrate with our families the Saturday before. (we celebrated it on 8-7-11) For anyone who knows Carsen he LOVE LOVE LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!!! It is his favorite thing! So inevitably we did a Micky Mouse Clubhouse Party! :) It was lots of fun and so nice to have so many of our family there! We missed the ones that couldn't be there but still had a great time! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa T for letting us use your house and yard!! (or and Carsen says...."Granma and Granpa Round n round") Carsen started calling them that when they play basket ball with him all the time when he is at their house and when the ball goes around the rim my mom said "wow, it went round and round" and did the arm motion and the saying stuck from that time forward and now every time he see's or talks to them he says it and does the arm motion! I love it! So dang cute!!
I can't believe my little man is 2!!! that is crazy!!! I just love him so much and am so thankful for him and all his craziness that brings such joy into our lives!! I wish I would have done this post a long time ago so I could remember more of what he was doing and saying at that exact time, but I will just do my best to remember and throw a few things in from what he is doing and saying these days so I don't forget those either!! He is hilarious and such a joy to have around! (don't get me wrong....he defiantly has his terrible twos moments...but I just love having a little buddy with me that makes me smile and laugh that the not so fun little moments are tiny compared to all the fun and sweet moments that we have all the time!!)

He talks like crazy and will mimic you and say pretty much whatever you say. It is so funny! Good thing he doesn't hear not so good words :)

Things Carsen is saying lately that are funny and things that I don't want to forget:
-we home!!! everytime we pull into the parking stall in front of our apt.
-Ash Cream- he loves getting an ice cream at a&w, and knows that we have to pass it to get home so he will ask all the time! It is too cute to watch how it doesn't even faze him when it is all over his face and nose :)
-Need Nap- most times when he yawns he will say..."I so tired, need nap." what a funny little guy!! such a good boy!
-Out of this world Abventure- from mickey of course but oh so funny when he says it!
-burr freezing- usually accompanied by him tightening his whole little boddy andshaking on purpose, so funny!
-Umm you! - Love you! just the cutest thing EVER!!!
-Buzzah- what he calls chocolate milk :) this one has stuck :) ha ah
-We do dat?- usually how he asks or says that we are going to do something :)
-Fries, nose! or Treat, nose! followed by him shaking his head no.- we have had 2 trips to the doctor after he has put a fry and an m&m up his nose so we had to go the doc to get them out. I think we were laughing the entire time but I think he still got the message that we shouldn't put anything up our nose so the next week he put a chocolate chip in his ear!! luckily it didn't go in far and we didn't have to go to the doc and he hasn't done it since! silly boy!!
-Where's Carsen?- He loves to play the game where he hides his eyes and since he can't see us that must mean that we can't see him! ha ha
-I gonna git you!- He loves to play this game on the way up the stairs...he always wants us to get him!
-Oh Mommy!?!- usually yelled while putting his hand up to his mouth as in the same way mickey mouse calls toodles! :)
-I'm Sawee- so sweet! he usually pair it with a big kiss :)
-MOINGA- That is what he says when he blows a kiss, Grandma Marsha started this one and it has stuck! he loves it!
-Snuggle!- This boy is the most snuggly little man I have ever known!! He actually asks to just snuggle! I LOVE IT :)
-Temple! - He loves the temple, most sundays on the way home from church we will take a little detour and drive past the temple! I love it too! He calls any church that we see a temple too because of the steeple :) He will see a church and then say..." Jesus, Temple" too cute!!
-Stinker Pot- He loves to go around saying this :) I wonder where he got it from ;) Just imagine him saying it with a little boston accent. He drags out the Pot so it sounds like Pwaut! so funny
-Curious George- again he says this with a little boston accent, cracks me up!!
-Red is Stop, Green is GO- He is so funny when we drive around, he looks for the lights and then says either Red is stop or green is go and then when it changes he says...what's next :) just so cute! By the way he also says yellow is go so I go with that :) That's my boy! :)

Things that Carsen loves lately:
-Mac-a-noni- (macaroni and cheese) what kid doesn't right?!?!
-yo-yuck (yogurt) he can down 2-4 go gurts in a row! he loves them!
-Cupcakes!! His favorite thing ever right now!!
-Mamgnents- He thinks that the magnets on the fridge and the other toys we have are just so cool to roll on the floor together and have them stick!
-Hot dogs!!
-Scrambled eggs- Keith will let him crack the eggs with him and he LOVES that!!
-Pancakes!!- Carsen loves to make pancakes with his daddy!!! It is his favorite thing to make pancakes with Keith (he loves to make blue ones :) If he won't eat anything else...he will eat pancakes and eggs! silly boy!!
-Cheetos- He asks for them for just about every meal! yes, even breakfast! gross I know!! :)
-Teddy Grahams- It is so funny to hear him say it! He found his love for these in Nursery :)
-Bubbles- this boy could do bubbles all day long!!! He LOVES bubbles!! I think that is his favorite part about going to nursery as well!!
-Bowling!- in any form, on my phone, the plastic ones he got for Christmas or the real thing! He loves it all!! so funny!
-His Crib! -I will not argue with this one :) he sometimes just wants to get in his crib and snuggle his pillow or read! Too cute!
-His pillow!! He is what I call a pillow snob! He has his favorite pillow and will settle for nothing else :) we even tried to put a different pillow case on it the other night but it would not do...it wasn't soft enough :) good thing that he isn't this particular about everything!!!
-and one thing that he really DOESN'T like is the garbage truck!! He hates the loud screeching noises and thinks that it is going to get him! (which I admittedly have played off of that fear to get him to be good sometimes.... :)

I'm sure there are many more things that I am missing or forgetting... I will just have to try to remember them later and post them when I do :)

Ryan's place park

Here we go....I am starting where I left off... which is just before Carsen's birthday!! ahhh!!! I am so behind but I promised myself that I wouldn't skip anything so I am just picking up where I left off and moving on! wish me luck :)

So right before Carsen's bday (08/10/12) Keith's family came up and we went to dinner and then went to play at the park! We have a park up here in Logan that we LOVE!!! I will really miss it when we move. We will have to come up to visit! It is an awesome park with all sorts of fun for Carsen!! There is so much to do and explore and he LOVES the swings. The park was made for a little boy that drowned. So sad but such a sweet way to remember him! All the materials and time to put it together were donated! So awesome!! We go there a lot! I'm sure I will find more pictures of being there later and put them up on here, but for now here are the ones of that day that we went. Carsen and Luke had a great time swinging and playing on the little toddler area with the little monkey bars and the cool mist areas! they were soaked by the end but had a total blast! They also loved the little airplane they could ride in! Did I mention that the entire park is made from trex, so no splinters to worry about!! Yay!! It was such a fun day and we can't wait til it is better weather so we can get outside and play again soon!!

I cannot believe how far behind in blogging I am!!!! (Only like 5 1/2 months behind!!) It makes me a little sick to think about how much I still have to do to be caught up to where I would like to be!! ahhhh! Well..... here's to hoping I can get my act together and really crank these posts out over the next week or so!! any suggestions or words of encouragement are greatly appreciated ;)

Chalket :)

Carsen takes after his mommy and LOVES chocolate or "Chalket" as Carsen says :) Ahhh a boy after my own heart!! We have so much fun together and he cracks me up! These pics are not very good quality but he was being so silly and was such a mess from his chocolate that I gave him that I couldn't help but take a pic or 2 to document how dang cute he is :) I crack up every time I see these pics!! Love you bug a boo!

Summer snippets...

This summer we were over at a friends house for a BBQ and their little girl was out on the lawn playing tea party with her little friend. Carsen has no problem crashing a party :) She was so sweet to him and he just loves her! Who wouldn't want a little boy to come to your tea party right ?!?!? He was having a blast and I think he loved going over to the faucet and playing in the water just as much as anything! what a silly little boy :)

We finally got Carsen to start liking sandwiches!! Yay! We have tried and tried and finally got him to like peanut butter and honey sanwiches. Which he calles "a honey samwich." I love it and this funny little man!!
We also got to go to Toads fun center with Miss and the kids and we had a blast! Carsen LOVES his cousin Korbin and thinks he is just the coolest!! This picture is of a cute little ride that made them feel like they were on a roller coaster! they would have sat there forever if we would have let them! These two are so silly and have so much fun together! I hope they can always be best buddies!!!
And last but certainly not least!.......BASEBALL!!! Our stake has a softball league every summer and Carsen LOVED it this year! He would watch and cheer everyone on saying "hey batter batter" (so cute!!) We are so lucky to have such a fun and sweet ward that they would let him come out and hit the ball and run the bases!! He was in heaven! Thank you to our wonderful ward and bishop!!! You are seriously the BEST!!!!

Just like Daddy!!

With Keith training to do part of the Lotoja this last summer his bike was left out in our living room a lot! Carsen has seen Keith get ready for a ride so many times that he knows just where daddy puts his water bottles! So......Carsen decided that was the best place to put his water bottles! He was SOOO proud of himself!! So dang cute!! He loves his daddy and wants to do everything just like him!!!

Carsen is such a good boy most of the time but he is still very much a 2 year old :) He sees me putting on lip stuff and when he finds some, he knows just what to do....he also LOVES to unravel the toilet paper! (what 2 yr old doesn't right?!?) silly boy!! we love you!!
