I feel so blessed to live so close to the temple. It is such a beautiful temple. The feeling even just being on the grounds is amazing! I love going to the temple. The spirit is so strong there. We have set a goal to go to the temple more often, so even just walking around it make me want to be there more and more. I love the feeling of doing work for our ancestors and the peace it brings. I am so thankful for a Heavenly Father who loves us all so much that he would give us this beautiful refuge from the cares of the world.

When we were up there in Logan, we were lucky enough to live just across the street from the temple, and then we moved to just a few blocks away, and we always loved walking around the grounds on Sunday. And after Ethan was born (4 yrs ago!) I would walk all the way around the temple several times, pushing him in the stroller. Talk about a good workout-going up the steep hill!! :)
Take advantage of being so close. The LA temple is at least an hour drive (without traffic) and its not in a very good part of town. :(

that is so cool!!! I look at the houses around the temple and wish we could live in one of them. That does sound like a good work out! way to go!! They put it in just last year I think. how long have you guys been in LA?
