Last week Keith was saying that he wasn't feeling well and I just thought that he was getting a sinus infection. Well after a few days and a few fevers later he came home from school pretty much delirious and I told him that I was taking him to the doctor. So he went to the doctor while I took Carsen for his 2 month appt. and he had to get his shots. I felt so bad for him. He is just not a screamer and he screamed and screamed. The nurses left the room and I was all alone with Carsen in the room and we both just cried for a minute. It is the hardest thing to see your child hurt! We picked Keith up from the doctor (with his mask on)and he was told that he more than likely had the swine flu. CRAPPY!!! I was so worried that Carsen was going to get it and sure enough the next night Carsen had a fever and we were right back at the insta care for him. They gave him a prescription for tamiflu. I felt so bad for him. poor boys!! I felt like a mom of 2 not 1 ! haha
The doctor told us to take him into his pediatrician the next day to be checked so i did and the doctor said that luckily this flu that is going around right now is not as bad as they are expecting later in the season so it only lasted about 3-4 days and he will have the antibodies built up, which is good. I guess we will just wait to see if I stay in the clear. Here's hoping!!!
Here are some pics of the day Carsen got his shots and the next day with both my sicky boys!

We are not sure if we had the swine flu or not but our symptoms matched what the CDC has posted on their web site. I don't have a fever anymore but I did on sunday so we skipped church. I hope they are feeling better and that you don't get as bad!
I am sorry the boys have been sick. Being a mom is so hard sometimes...I can relate to your crying at the Dr's office. I think I cried every time I took Luke for the first few months. Love you Guys and hope everyone is on the mend.
Poor guys! I hate shots, too - they are the worst. I hope they feel better and that you stay healthy!!
