Thinking

I have been toying with the idea lately of going private. Should I or shouldn't I? What to do?!?! I would love to know all your opinions and pros and cons about it!

I haven't had many comments in months so I just wasn't sure if anyone even looked at it. I mean I still do this for me but it is fun to know when other people are out there :)

Bowling!

We took Carsen bowling for the first time when we had Maci come up to stay with us for a few days to play! We love having Maci here! Carsen thinks she is just the greatest!! We did lots of fun things but this seemed to be the only thing I got pictures of and it was with a phone at that! ugh... oh well :) I should be better about always having my camera with me! We decided to take the kids bowling for family night and we all had a blast! Carsen was totally enthralled that there was yet another sport that he could throw balls :) It happened to be galactic that night and he loved that too because the bowling balls would glow! I LOVE watching him discover new things and get so excited about them! Thanks for coming to play Maci! We love you!!! come up again soon ok :)

Smile!!

Lately when I ask Carsen to show me his teeth (usually when I am brushing them) he gives me these cutest cheesers! I love it!!! That smile just melts my heart! He has now figured out to say "cheese" when we hold up a camera or a phone! It is pretty hilarious, most of the time he will say cheese but not actually smile, so if I say "let me see your teeth" I usually get a cute little dimple smile! He has got to be the funniest little kid I know! I love love love him!!!!

Mother's day

We had a great weekend! we visited family and went to watch Grandma B walk in the Susan G Komen 5k. We are so proud of her fight against this awful disease! She finished so fast that we didn't get to see her finish but we did get to hang out with them after and have a nice lunch and then have dinner with Grandma T and the rest of the family! It was so nice to see everyone and enjoy time together!! We had a relaxing rest of the weekend at home!
I can't even express how much I am grateful for my mom, my mother in law and for all the mom's in my life! I have so many great examples around me! I cry when I think of how blessed I am! I have so much to be grateful for. I am so thankful to be the mom to the sweetest, most loving and dang cutest little man ever! OK so I know that I am biased, but he is adorable... what can I say :) I love him so much I can't even put into words how much I love him! Thank you Carsen for making me a mommy! I love you so much!

Keeping busy

Since Keith is still in school summer usually starts for us in May! Yay! The only bummer is that Keith had to start a summer course the week after classes let out so we have been enjoying the sum and have been outside as much as the weather will allow, ( it has been so wet and rainy this year) and we find ways to entertain when we can't go outside :)

Here are just a few things and pics of what we have been keeping ourselves busy with during May:

Grandma B got us this cool Bike trailer that Carsen loves! He loves to be in it even if it is inside! He loves to sit in it and buckle up, He loves the buckle up song! so cute! We are so excited to be able to use it more! Thanks so much grandma b!!!
We go visit and sit on the temple grounds with friends! What awesome friends we have!! We miss them! Carsen and Brylee are so cute together and always so good to be nice and give each other loves :) We set them both up by the fountain and I told Carsen to give her "a love" which has always been a hug before but this time he gave her a kiss and she grabbed his face and kept it there!! Cracked me up!! Thanks Heather for getting a picture of that! They are pretty dang cute together :)
When it is rainy and we can't color outside....we color inside:) Carsen is such a good boy and loves to color!
We find a yummy treat! Mine and Carsen's favorite is a little bowl with a couple chocolate chips in it! instead of picking them out, he would just dump them in his mouth and then say "mmmoooorrree peeeeessse!" He would have his mouth chuck full and the chocolate slobber dripping out but wanted more! Cracked me up! He loves is chocolate just like his mommy :)
Bouncy balls!!!! It is no surprise how much Carsen loves any kind of ball and bouncy balls are one of his favorites!! We have quite the little collection now and we like to sit in the kitchen and throw them back and forth and try to shoot them in different things! He loves it and just laughs and laughs! ( till he gets the hiccups just like his daddy! ) Those boys make me laugh so hard!
We try on shoes :) favorite past time of course!
We love to have friend over to play! We had Brylee over while her parents were packing up to move, and then we had Elsie over while her mom had a doctor's appt. We had so much fun both times playing with play dough and making forts! I love that Carsen has little friends his age to play with and he gets so excited to have them over!!!
Carsen has discovered that it is pretty dang fun to move the mouse around on the computer, so I went onto the word world website so he could play on there and he LOVED it!! he would sing to it and everything!! so funny!!!

Let's go fly a kite

On May 1st ( yep I am still 2 months behind! ugh) My parents came up for a visit on Sunday afternoon and we LOVED it!! We decided after dinner that we would go up to one of our favorite parks (lundstrom park) and fly a kite that Carsen and I had gotten at the dollar store the week before. not the greatest kite but it worked pretty well for the most part and Carsen loved it and that is all that matters, right ;)
He was so in awe of it and that it was flying! I love how everything is so new to him and that he get so excited! It is so much fun to show him and teach him new things!! I love you Carsen!

He was so impressed that Boppa could fly the kite that now every time that I say "we are going to go see boppa!" he says "boppa kite! boppa kite!" He also loved that Amma would say weeee with him every time that he would go down the slide and then he would give her a headbutt and a kiss after each time!!! He loves his amma and boppa!
