Lotaja and Jenny Lake 2010

I can't believe that It has been a year already since our last lotoja. Carsen was only a month old when we went last year. My how time flies!! We had so much fun. Keith rode again this year but my bro in law joel wasn't able to ride this year, we missed getting to follow him! It is always so exciting to see 1000 road bikers and to cheer them on! I'm sure it will be here again before we know it! My mom and dad were able to stay with us for most of the time, we loved having them there and Carsen just never can get enough of his grama and boppa! Grama got Carsen a toy phone and some funny little sunglasses to keep him occupied! He loved them (still does!) Thanks so much for entertaining him!!
We all went up to Jenny Lake again this year. We were a little behind everyone else and we got to see some moose right of the road. It was pretty cool. We went and walked around and played in the water. It was such a good time being with everyone!! We love you all and can't wait for this year!

Family reunion 2010

I'm going even further back with this one :) I forgot that I hadn't done this post yet until I found the pictures! So, At the first of September we got to go to our family reunion that is on my dad's side. They have it every year the same time and same place! It was fun to be able to go this year because we haven't been able to go for about the last 6 years since The Lotoja is that same weekend, but this year they moved it a week earlier! YAY!! It was fun and we go to go camping with Carsen for the first time. He really enjoyed it! We stayed in my parents trailer with them (thanks mom and dad :)) Carsen loved having lots of people around and he got to have his very favorite breakfast (scrambled eggs and blueberries) He got to do some of the kids games like the fish pond. It feels like it wasn't that long ago that I was that little kid waiting at the fish pond for my surprise and playing bingo for presents :) It was so much fun to have my own little family there and have my little guy get to do some of the fun things that I remember so well. I love getting away and just being with family! Thanks to all that came!! I'm excited for next year!!

These two have some sort of magnetism to each other! It is so cute! Carsen just lights up when he sees his grama!! I am so grateful for them!! love you!

Maci's Birthday and Bouncing

My neice Maci had a bounce house for her birthday party in October. (I know I know I am still way behind and working on catching up!) Carsen didn't quite understand how to really jump around in the bounce house, but he loved walking around in it and playing with Keith, Maci, Brinsen, Korbin, and Tyler! Happy Birthday Maci! Thanks for letting us come play, we love you!

Carsen loves Maci so much!! He asks for her every day. He loves to look at her pictures! We had Maci come stay with us for a few days when she had a break from school and we LOVED having her here!!! Carsen was so entertained and would follow her around like a puppy dog. He laughs at everything she does and wants to do just what she is doing! He calls her "bayci" and it is so cute!!
Thanks for coming to play with us and always being so sweet to Carsen!

Stuck

Carsen's new favorite word is "Stuck!" He uses it for about everything tha is off or not where he wants it! A little while ago I was doing dishes and I hear "stuck....stuck.....stuck!!" I turned around and this is what I saw.....

I must be a terrible mom because I grabbed the camera instead of getting him out of the chair first. poor boy, but it was just so funny.... even if he didn't think so after a few pictures :( I just couldn't help it!

The Swing

For everyone who knows Carsen very well, you know that he LOVES to swing, so my parents got him a swing for his birthday, but unfortunately at our place all the trees are too wimpy to hold it up and we couldn't put up anything permanent because of renting. (only 11 more months!!!! yay!) So my sweet mom and dad realized that they had an extra porch swing bar stand that they weren't using when they got a new one and decided to try the swing on it to see if it would work.
Well........... It works GREAT!! We love it! It is so nice having a swing at our house. Carsen and I spent a lot of nice summer days out swingin'!! We can't wait to use it again when it warms up!

P.S. This swing is also known as "The Baby Launcher" not because it has ever launched a baby, but because when my brother saw the swing he sweetly named it that because it looks a little like a sling shot for babies :) ha ha

We love it regardless of what it looks like! It serves the purpose :)
