Spring Break!

Spring Break was this last week, and we were lucky enough to be able to go to St. George for some fun in the sun! Our original plans since last year were to go to Disneyland, but we didn't get things booked in time, and it ended up working out that St. George would work a lot better. So Saturday the 11th, we drove down to St. George and were able to see family and friends on the way down, then as we were driving through Salt Lake, Keith decided that we were going to drive through his old neighborhood to see his old house in American Fork. It was fun to see him get so excited to show me where he rode his bike, his school and where his friends used to live.
We finally got into Keith's Grandma's house in st. george and we all went out to dinner and then stayed at her house overnight. The next morning we visited with her and played some games. It was really nice to see her and visit with her. Then we drove over to the condo in green valley that we stayed at for the next 3 days. Big thanks to Ilene for letting us use her condo! It was such a wonderful vacation, we enjoyed every minute of it!
The next few days were full of...hiking (I actually hiked! twice!) relaxing, swimming, shopping, sleeping in and just enjoying some much needed sun shine!
We went on a pretty long hike up to Snow Canyon, see pics, Keith just kept saying I think it is just over this hill. Three mountains later and a bunch of sand, we found it! I do have to say it was worth it in the end though! He is such a good sport to put up with me :)
On Tuesday we got the opportunity to go to the St. George temple. It was a beautiful day and that temple is so pretty. We had a great time and met some really nice people.
After the temple we went to visit Suzie (Keith's aunt) at the jewelry shop. We always stop at the shop to find some fun jewelry, it's become a tradition. Luv ya Suz
Another highlight to the trip was In'n Out Burger of course! We got our favorite Neapolitan shake and the best burgers around! I so wish we had one closer, but that might not be a good thing :) ha ha
We drove home on Wednesday and on the way home stopped to hike one last hike, then stopped at Grandma Hebe's to say bye and headed out, then when we got to ogden we stopped to play a game of Scrabble with My Grandma Z, she is such a sweetheart, we love to go visit and play scrabble with her, she is still the reigning champ!
After that we headed up north and stayed the night at Miss and Joel's (thanks guys!) Brinsen had just lost his front two bottom teeth the night before and we got to see that and Maci at her dance class. It is so fun to watch them grow up.
We definitely miss getting to see all the nieces and nephews milestones, but are so glad to get phone calls, pictures and emails to keep us up on their lives.

We heard that Easton won his pine wood derby race and set a new record!!! That is so exciting, we love you and are so proud of you buddy!

The rest of the weekend was full of cleaning out and organizing to get ready for the baby's room. It is becoming more and more real. It is so fun. I have just started feeling the very first kicks and movements, it is amazing!

For now it is back to work and school and looking forward to the summer. Yay!
Thanks again to everyone who made this last week so nice! It was a wonderful vacation. Lots of love!

I thought this rock looked like a candy corn! Mmmmmm Yummy!

Whoa! It's been a while!

Hey Everybody! I'm still here, sorry it has been so long since I last posted anything! Lots of fun things have been happening since last time I wrote. Where to start.....Well, let's start with a really fun family night of bowling. I think it was a month ago now that we went down to FatCats to bowl with Dad, Mom, Miss, Joel, Nate, Gina, Brinsen, Maci, Tyler and Korbin! We had a total of 8 people bowling on one lane, so one game took us almost 2 hrs. The kids are hilarious...I think they liked throwing the ball down the "dark lanes" as much as they did scoring any points! Afterward we decided to go to Kirt's for ice cream! We love being with family and wish we could be with all of our family more! We love all you kids! Later that weekend we made yummy sugar cookies for valentine's! I love making sugar cookies, but sugar hasn't loved me lately...lots of sugar headaches! Must be pregnant or something! ha ha

I think Valentine's is one of my favorite holidays. Keith is such a sweetheart and knows that I love to drag out any and every holiday, so because Valentine's was on Saturday, He decided to start spoiling me early. On Thursday I got back to work from lunch, and there were the prettiest pink white and red tulips on my desk waiting for me! Friday morning he tells me he has a surprise for after work, when I got home he had arranged for us to go get massages that night, which were wonderful!!! Saturday morning we were able to go to the temple for Annie's endowments, it was great and it was so nice to be there! Then we came home and I took a long nap, which was wonderful,(pregnancy really wipes you out, I know I'm a whiner!) We hung out the rest of the day and relaxed and Keith got me a new set of earrings and a necklace. He is better than I could ever imagine and more than I could ever expect! I love you honey!!

Annie and Scott got married on Feb 20th! It was such a pretty day! they got really lucky with the weather. We went to Maddox the night before for the wedding dinner that was very yummy and very fun, then the next morning we all me up at the temple and it all went perfectly. Then we had a few hours after the ceremony to chill and play some wii with Sara, Doug, and Luke. It was very fun to have them over. Thanks for coming up guys! Then we all got dressed up and went to the reception. I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the boys being humiliated by the DJ for the YMCA! You boys are good sports. Lots of yummy cheesecake and fun times seeing family and friends.
Way to go you two, you made it!

And last but certainly not least.... We went to the doctor last Friday and found out that we are having a......BOY! We are so excited! It makes it so much more real when you know what it is. We are officially carrying on the tradition of having a boy first! And now we will carry on the last name, Keith is the only boy on that side of the family, and now the name will stay alive. yay! Everyone in my family had a boy first and the only grand kid on Keith's side is a boy.
Keith was pretty sure at first that we would break the pattern and have a girl first, but as soon as we found out that it's a boy, Keith's first words were...Now I can go hiking and camping with my kids sooner! What else would you expect! ha ha. We are both so excited for our little guy! I am 16 weeks and counting! He is growing so fast. It is amazing to watch the changes on the ultrasound from appointment to appointment. He is pretty chill and just sits there watching you until you poke at him and then he will kick back. I hope that means he will be laid back like his daddy! It is truly amazing to watch our little family grow. I am so thankful for our wonderful families to bring our little guy into. Thank you all for all you do for us. We love you all so much!

Wow that was a lot for one month. Hope you enjoyed getting caught up. I will definitely be better at posting more often!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Wow it has taken me a long time to post anything! Well I will try to sum up everything that has happened! Keith finished finals,YAY! He is a much happier person after finals week.
Keith's little sister got engaged! On that same night we found out that WE'RE GOING TO HAVE A BABY! I am due August 16th. Keith calls it Poppy because it was the size of a poppy seed when it started out, they tell us. He cracks me up with his nick names! We were so excited, but didn't tell anybody until Christmas eve. We wanted to go to the first doctor's appt first. So we told both of our families on Christmas eve. Christmas was great, we were able to see both our families and spend time with everyone.
We got snowed in at my sister's and ended up getting to stay there the whole weekend! Thanks Miss and Joel for letting us stay. The Saturday after Christmas we celebrated Brinsen's birthday at the Flow Rider. Joel hurt his back that morning and wasn't able to help the little boys get on the boards, so Keith got to help! He had a blast and I think I laughed myself sick! I don't have the pics so I will have to get some from my sister to post.
Keith's grandparents homecoming was on Sunday, so we went to Sandy for that and I started not feeling well. We went home that night, and I spent the whole next day on the bathroom floor! Keith got it the next day, but not as bad, I was wiped out for 2 1/2 days! I think that darn flu hit everybody in my family.
For New Years, we hung out at Miss and Joel's, they are always so good to have everyone over. We had a lot of fun and laughed till we cried at Joel and his siblings stories about growing up together.
Well....there is the last month in a nutshell. I hope everyone is doing well, and had a great Christmas!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Once again, I am way behind on the blogging. So here is a little story about 2 Thanksgivings... We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with both families. Since this year was my family's year to have us for Thanksgiving, we spent Thursday with my family and Saturday with Keith's. We were completely stuffed by the end of the weekend, but it was so worth it. At my family's we had my cute Grandma Z, I am so grateful to have her in our lives, she is such a sweetheart! My parents, Miss, Joel and the Kids, Ilene, and Dean and Lona. We had a great time visiting and eating. We truly have so much to be grateful for! AT Keith's we had his parent's, his sister Annie and her boyfriend and his fam and Sarah, Doug and Luke. The whole weekend was wonderful! I didn't get a whole lot of pics (oops) but we did decorate our own gingerbread people (thanks Ilene for always having a fun craft!) and Keith took a picture of them! Aww cute! And Miss took pictures of us for Christmas card and just some new pics, it has been a while since we had any. I will post more soon! A big thank you to both of our families for always making it so great! I am so excited for the holiday season! Lots of love!

Happy Birthday Keith!

This month has kinda just flown by. I can't believe it is almost December and Christmas is less than a month away. The month was pretty uneventful up until the week of Keith's Birthday. He had to have surgery, and decided he would schedule it 2 days before his birthday, which I was a little bummed about because I thought it would ruin his birthday for him. To my surprise, he did remarkably well and was really funny coming out of the anesthesia. My mom and dad were able to come up while Keith was in surgery and sit with me, while I worried. Thanks Mom and Dad for coming up so early in the morning to be with us. I was way more stressed than Keith, but I quickly found out I had nothing to worry about and it was over before we knew it. (especially Keith, he just wanted to go back to sleep)He was supposed to have an adult with him for 24 hrs and I was being honored at a luncheon that afternoon for work, so mom and dad sat with him at home while I ran there to make an appearance, and to get the prescriptions. Thanks again for babysitting! :)

Tiff's birthday is the day before Keith's so last year we started a Thanksgiving tradition of going out to breakfast really early. Thanks again Tiff and Whit! We are so thankful for wonderful friends.

Friday afternoon Keith's mom came up to visit for Keith's birthday. It is always nice to have company, I love having family up. We went to see Twilight!!! What a good husband I have!!!

Saturday the 22nd was his birthday and we just had kind of a relaxing day we went to lunch with Jordan and Heather and Annie and Scott came up and brought their Wii. I am a little rusty on the Mario Kart!

Later that night, we went to a friends wedding reception and then some of our friends came over for cake and ice cream. (homemade...can you believe it??)

I guess he knows how much I love to drag out birthdays,(they are supposed to be a week long event right??) so we are going to do the rest of the family birthday stuff over Thanksgiving.

I just wanted to thank everyone for making this weekend a great birthday for Keith, we are so lucky to have such great family and friends.

October Fun

Wow I can't believe it is November! Time is flying by! I thought I would post a couple pictures of fun things through the rest of October. We went to Lagoon for frightmares (with Annie and Scott) because I won some tickets at work. It was fun, but I think the best part was the dipn'dots! I quickly remembered why I haven't been there in years....it was so crowded and I always seem to go home sick. Oh well, we all had a great time, and Keith got to go on the wild animal train for the first time ever! Amazing how cool things seem when you are a little kid. We also went to a really cool pumpkin walk up in North Logan with Tiff and Whit after we made carmel apples. The apples were so yummy and we saw some really cool scenes made out of pumpkins and gourds. There were these really funny charatcter cutouts that we all took turns posing in, we were laughing so hard! Oh, and we went to our ward's costume party, dressed as a Ghostbuster and the Stay Puff marshmallow man....we won! Thanks Nate and Gina for letting us use the costumes! Tiff and Whit went as Biggest Loser trainers, Bob and Jillian.

We went down to North Ogden for Halloween night. It was really fun to see everyone all dressed up! Dad's costume was hilarious! I don't have the picture yet, but as soon as I get it I will put it on here. I wish I could've seen all the neices and nephews I bet they were all darling! I was so sad that I forgot my camera, so I am stealing the pics from Miss and Gina's websites. Thanks guys! Nate's Bday is on Halloween, so we were able to go see him and everybody at Nate and Gina's for a little bit, and then we went over to Keith's parents house to see friends and his family and Luke. It was really nice to be able to go out to dinner with Mom and Dad, I am so thankful for them and how well dad is feeling! We love you both! The weekend was crazy running from place to place, but we love to see everyone and spend as much time as we can. Just know that we love you all, and thank you for being patient with us while we try to share our time with everyone.
