The Swing

For everyone who knows Carsen very well, you know that he LOVES to swing, so my parents got him a swing for his birthday, but unfortunately at our place all the trees are too wimpy to hold it up and we couldn't put up anything permanent because of renting. (only 11 more months!!!! yay!) So my sweet mom and dad realized that they had an extra porch swing bar stand that they weren't using when they got a new one and decided to try the swing on it to see if it would work.
Well........... It works GREAT!! We love it! It is so nice having a swing at our house. Carsen and I spent a lot of nice summer days out swingin'!! We can't wait to use it again when it warms up!

Thanks so much Ma-Ma and Bop-pa!! You are so good to us!! We love you

P.S. This swing is also known as "The Baby Launcher" not because it has ever launched a baby, but because when my brother saw the swing he sweetly named it that because it looks a little like a sling shot for babies :) ha ha

We love it regardless of what it looks like! It serves the purpose :)

Future Aggie!

For family home evening back at the first of October we went and walked around the USU campus. It was lots of fun and Carsen had been walking just for a little while so he enjoyed somewhere to really get to walk around. Here are a few pics of A current Aggie and a future Aggie! I love seeing these two together! So sweet! I love my guys!

Where's Carsen?!?!?

Carsen loves to play this game and thinks no one can see him if his hands are up even if he can see us! So funny! Just so cute I can't help it! I love that laugh!!!!!

P.S. it works best if you turn off the blog music that is about halfway down the right column of the blog. just push the pause button.

Ice Cream

We like to go down to A&W and get an ice cream cone and all share it but somehow Carsen always ends up with the cone! He loves it! It is a good thing that he is cute because that is my favorite part of the ice cream too! This particular night we brought the ice cream cone home and like almost everything else it had to take a ride in his little snail buddy toy. Hilarious!!

Missing the summer

Looking back on tons of pictures and fun things we went and did I think Carsen and I are both missing the summer badly! Here are a few cute pics of feeding the ducks, which we did almost daily, and just cute pics of Carsen. I love that he can't help but smile when you smile at him!
can't wait for next summer!!

Things I don't want to forget!

I have been a slacker when it comes to blogging and tracking the new fun little things Carsen is doing. Since I use this for a journal, I like to make sure I record all the little milestones and things I don't want to forget! Sadly it had been so long since I posted last that I now have 3+ months of things to catch up on. Carsen started walking just before he was 13 months and he has just gotten faster and faster. Hence the reason for me being much busier and not being able to keep up on blogging :) I have promised my self so many times that I was going to get caught up and never did and so..... here I finally am blogging! So this post will probably be a long one!

I am just in love with this little man! He is my best little buddy. We do everything together :)

This is going to be a long list but here are some of the things that Carsen does and says that I don't want to forget.......

His first word was BALL!!! actually buh-buh- ball!! I was trying to teach him by sounding it out and I guess I just taught him how to stutter...oops! Oh well it is the only word he says like that and still says it like that all the time. It is so cute!

There are so many more that I just can't remember. he is so funny and comes up with his own stuff all the time! so cute!

He love to push his little cars around. and anything that will scoot or roll for that matter :)
he loves to ride on things like his little turtle and baby bike.
He loves anything that he can throw and will throw anything he can get his hands on! We are working on that!! food is the worst!
He runs pretty much everywhere he goes and loves to be outside!
He loves to be around people and is not afraid to be around anyone new! I really have to watch or he runs off so easy!

Every time you say good job or get excited for him he will clap for himself! I love it!
He loves to play peek a boo. and splashes like crazy in the tub and then pulls the tub curtain back and plays peek a boo with that too. we have a shower curtain that has a bunch or animals on it and he loves to find them and make their noises. the newest is the elephant. so funny!
He loves to brush his teeth and wants more toothpaste every time he takes the brush out.
He likes to have his hair sprayed, he thinks it is funny. Loves to unravel the toilet paper, floss and loves to empty the tupperware drawer!
He is ALL BOY!!!

Some of his favorite foods are:
bunny milk (chocolate milk)
danactive yogurt drinks
cheese
crackers
fishy crackers
pretzels
water- he would rather have water than anything else! that's my boy! :)
yogurt puffs
fruit leather
noodles
bluberries
raspberries
strawberries
Life cereal
scrambled eggs
cinnamon toast
rice
pesto noodles
juice
beans
corn
mac and cheese
oatmeal
french fries

he used to like peas a lot but then realized that they looked like BALLS and just throws them now, so we don't have them that often anymore :) ( he has got quite a little arm on him!)

He loves to dance and will dance to any sort of music, even hymns :) He will just sit there and bop up and down or do his little quick feet stomp.
He still doesn't love tv or movies but he has this one little movie with kids songs that he likes and that is about it! He is such a busy boy!
He loves skeeball, any combination with lights and balls is a hit. :)
He loves to get my scentsy smells out and wants me to open every one and then he smells it like he smells flowers (very gently)and says.....mmmmmmmm! so cute
He LOVES the vacuum! He has now started to want to help out with doing things and he loves to help vacuum, mop, hand me the utensils out of the dishwasher and hand me the pillows so that I can make the bed. (so he can jump and wallow on the pillows!)
He gets so excited about everything that it is hard not to get excited with him!
He makes every little silly even daily thing more fun because he is so happy and excited about it.
Don't get me wrong he has plenty of melt downs but his sweetness so far outweighs it that I tend to forget about the not so fun times.
He is such a good boy and we are so blessed to have him in our family! We love you bug a boo!!

The Logan Fair

Wow, this is going to be a crazy week of blogging if I want to even get remotely caught up! Here goes nothin'............

Back on August 12th (so long ago I know!!) We went out to the Logan fair to see the animals. It was so much fun! Carsen wasn't really sure what to think of the animals, the only ones that he really liked were the goats but I think that the balloon that a sweet little girl walking past him gave him. It was a ton of fun and we can't wait to go again next year. I can't wait for summer again and fall just started, is that bad ? :)

This was right at the first. He reached out to touch the sheep, decided he didn't really like it and then he tried to be brave and pet it again and it was confirmed that he didn't like the sheep. poor boy...It was pretty funny though :)

Here are the cute kids (Brinsen, Maci and Korbin) that weren't afraid of the animals!
We had so much fun!! thanks for coming up!

Carsen Loved that balloon! He just kept squishing his face up against it. SO funny!

Sweet Laini Baby!! She was so good the entire time! What a cute girl!!
